The Topuito Isles have sat untouched along the Northern coast of Mozambique for a very long time. Having no fresh water of their own, they have been useful to fishermen only as a place to stay overnight.
About 6 years ago the process started to aquire the lease for this land and Fresh Limitada was born.
Myself, I am one of the many supporters of the project to get an island lodge developed on Topuito (Caldeira Island and Nejovo Island). This very special place can’t remain completely hidden for much longer.
The purpose of this blog is to tell the tales involved in Topuito’s evolution and of all the people who are here making it happen.

Fascinating.
I’m across the channel and a bit north, in Seychelles, where water is not an issue, but tourists are beginning to take over. Hotel development is in full build-build-build mode and life is changing far too fast.
Your peace and quiet sounds lovely.
